Older Adult Behavior Health Specialist

Lacey Plasker, BSW, QMHA and Certified Behavioral Support Specialist, is the Older Adult Behavior Health Specialist for Yamhill County. She is a native Oregonian who currently resides with her husband and children in McMinnville. Lacey holds a social work degree from George Fox University and has been working for Yamhill County Adult Behavior Health in various positions for the last 15 years. Her most recent role was as a Behavior Support Specialist working with older adults in long-term care settings providing education, behavioral interventions, and modeling positive interactions for staff while encouraging person-centered engagement. She is a certified trainer in de-escalation through the Crisis Prevention Institute. She has a passion for improving knowledge and access to services in order to better address the needs of older adults and persons with physical disabilities, as well as providing trainings and other hands-on opportunities to connect with the community.
