Foot care is an important part of quality of life for residents and shouldn't be overlooked. In this session, the presenter will explore typical presentation of skin conditions and the DHS survey requirements for skin assessments. The audience will discover the correlation between moisture associated skin breakdown and skin infection. The presenter will share general recommendations for optimum pedal skin health, including identification of pathogens and topical treatment options for infectious foot conditions.
