Delegation in community-based care is one of the most challenging tasks for a nurse. This course is designed to lay the groundwork for successfully delegating nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP). Participants will gain organizational strategies, delegation tracking tools, and a comprehensive review of the OARs and OSBN Division 47 best practices. Additionally, attendees will receive teaching materials to help educate UAPs on important topics such as hypo/hyperglycemia, injection sites, the onset-peak-duration of common types of insulin, and more.
