With baby boomers aging and life expectancy increasing, the older adult population in Oregon and across the nation is experiencing a sudden and rapid rise. The term “silver tsunami” coined by the media underscores the urgent need to recruit, develop, and retain an adequate workforce to meet the significant increase in demand for long-term care services that is already upon us.
Our mission is to help meet the current and increasing workforce needs of Oregon’s long-term care sector by promoting the meaningful work and career opportunities within and by providing the information and support people need to find employment and turn a job into a meaningful career.
